Download mining programs only from trusted sources. These are the Github service and the BitcoinTalk forum, you can go to the page of the red miner team here. Two separate versions of Team Red Miner have been released, one for Windows and one for Linux. The utility is intended only for graphics cards manufactured by AMD. We list the compatible lines of GPU adapters:
Navi - RX 5700XT/5600XT/5500XT.
Big Navi - RX 6900XT, RX 6800XT, RX 6700XT, RX 6600XT.
Vega - RX Vega 64/56, Vega FE, Radeon VII.
Polaris - RX 580/480/570/470/560/460/550.
Fiji - R9 Fury/Fury X/Nano, MI8 (limited compatibility).
Tonga/Antigua - R9 285/285X/380/380X, W7100, S7150 (compatible with beta version 0.8.2. Only Ethash and KawPow are available).
The miner can work on 30 crypto protocols, including MTP, Cuckarood29 and Cuckatoo31. Cryptonite forks (Haven, Bittube, Conceal) and several other more or less profitable coins are supported. The full list of algorithms is in the official BitcoinTalk forum thread.

In new versions of the miner, starting from TRM 0.8.0, the settings of video cards based on the Ethash algorithm have been changed, and new mining modes have been added. This makes it possible to increase the hashrate and reduce the power consumption of modern AMD Radeon graphics cards. TeamRedMiner has additional crypto mining (B/C) modes that allow you to use the maximum amount of video memory of graphics cards to increase work efficiency.
Key points of the new release:
Polaris video cards - improved energy efficiency and slightly increased hashrate when B-mode is activated (parameter eth_aggr_mode or eth_config=Bxxx).
Vega 56/64 Graphics - Improved mining efficiency. It is recommended to enable B-mode using the eth_config argument (eth_aggr_mode does not apply).
Radeon VII cards - a major hashrate boost in C mode. Now you can reach 100 Mh/s on almost all air-cooled versions of Radeon VII.
Rx 5700/5700XT video accelerators - the red miner allows you to save up to 8-9 W of consumption per video card. To do this, you need to lower the core voltage using the clk+ parameter. B-mode calculations are now set by default.
5600 XT Graphics Cards - The new B-mode doesn't bring much improvement. Therefore, A-mode remains the default data mining mode.
All new data mining engines work with less computational load compared to earlier versions of Team Red Miner. This is usually to reduce the power consumption of the graphics core, but the video memory is still working at full capacity. .
Thus, at maximum overclocking, you may have to slightly increase the speed of rotation of the cooling fans. Using B/C mode means that caching of multiple database groups (--eth_dag_cache), which is commonly used to switch ZIL+ETH, is not possible.
